Dearborn receives all positive feedback for DESE Program Reviews

Below is a PDF of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Approved Special Education School Program Review Final Report, which contains findings based on the onsite visits conducted at Dearborn Academy and Dearborn Summer Program.* DESE reviews all special education programs for compliance with state and federal regulations every six years.

For each of our programs, DESE assessed numerous program areas. In doing so, the Department determined that all requirements were fully implemented and, as a result, no corrective action was needed. This attested to how well the programs are being administered and the good work being done for our students. We could not have asked for a better outcome. These pages detail the legal standards that must be met within each program area.
