Learning about DNA

Dearborn Academy’s biology students have been learning about DNA and RNA structures, and how they work together to make proteins that are essential for us to function. They used candy to demonstrate their understanding of the process of protein synthesis by building complementary DNA and mRNA models, and translating those sequences into corresponding amino acids.
