This year, Dearborn Academy is participating in Giving Tuesday, created in 2012 as an alternative to the commercialism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday is now a year-round global movement that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.
Providing Enrichment
Your gift to our Dearborn Giving Tuesday campaign, part of our 2023-24 Annual Fund, will provide enrichment opportunities that empower our students to set and attain bold academic and personal goals and develop deep connections to one another. Help us reach our goal of $10,000 for Giving Tuesday and our 2023-24 Annual Fund, and thank you.
$5,000 will help us upgrade our heating system this winter for four offices in the lower level where clinicians meet with students.
$2,500 will purchase new equipment for our fitness room.
$1,000 will purchase 10-15 flexible seating options, wobble stools, rocking chairs, etc., that help students who learn best while moving.
$500 will refresh our supply of sensory tools to help calm students’ anxiety.
$250 will purchase supplies for chemistry experiments.
$100 will purchase art supplies to help students interested in fashion design careers.
$50 will purchase beach umbrellas and chairs for our summer program.
$25 will purchase a puzzle or other mindful activity for mindful movement.
