Just as students are learning to navigate independence, families are adjusting too.
At Everest, we support caregivers by:
- Offering a Bridge Between Support and Independence
Everest coaches provide the structure students often lose after high school — which gives parents peace of mind while still respecting their student’s autonomy.
- Providing Optional Communication
With the student’s consent, caregivers can receive updates, join check-ins, or ask questions. We help families stay informed without overstepping.
- Easing the “Hands-Off” Anxiety
We understand how hard it is to step back — especially when a student has needed scaffolding in the past. Everest becomes a trusted partner so you don’t have to carry that concern alone.
- Supporting Individual Needs
Whether your student has ADHD, anxiety, learning differences, or simply needs accountability, we adjust our coaching approach to fit. Families are not alone in navigating this.
Caregiver Support
We know that college isn’t just a transition for students — it’s a major shift for caregivers too. That’s why Everest College Coaching is committed to supporting parents, guardians, and families with open communication, practical tools, and peace of mind.
How We Support Caregivers
– Clear communication: We believe in transparent, timely updates so caregivers know how things are going.
– Realistic expectations: We help caregivers understand the college environment and how it differs from high school.
– Shared goals: We partner with families to support student growth while honoring their independence.
– Supportive coaching: We’re here for caregivers too — as a thought partner, guide, and resource during each stage of the journey.
Consent-Based Access
We are committed to student-centered support. Students sign a consent form indicating whether Everest can share session summaries with caregivers. We encourage open communication between students and families, and our consent process helps build that trust.
