Julie Manning started her work at Dearborn Academy in 2017 as an assistant teacher in the elementary/middle school program, but quickly transitioned to her role as a head teacher in the high school.

After four years in the classroom, she accepted the role of admissions coordinator. This is a role in which she can use her fantastic ability to connect with families and school district liaisons, as well as build relationships with students to help them meet their goals. 

Julie earned her degree from Framingham State University with a major in elementary education and a minor in sociology. She holds an Elementary Education Grades 1-6 License and a Moderate Disabilities Grades 5-12 license.

During her time at Dearborn, Julie has developed curriculum, helped implement training for staff and students regarding our use of restorative practices, and is our fearless crew team coach!
